First of all, let me just wish everyone a Happy New Year for the soon-to-be 2020. Let's hope it's a good one.
I'm so excited (and I just can't hide it) to be able to tell you that you can soon expect not one, but TWO sequels to my unusual but successful novel The Bristol Savages.
For those of you unfamiliar with what I consider to be my most subversive novel, The Bristol Savages follows the exploits of Anna Lewis, a woman who is not only a wife, a mother, and a professional business woman, but who also has an unhealthy predilection for murder. The members of a support group for like-minded prolific multiple murderers is being destroyed, a member at a time, and Anna must find out who is responsible if she is to keep her terrible secret, while at the same time dodging a new division of the police department that has been set up specifically to hunt serial killers.
I don't want to tell you too much about the sequels, but they are set six years after the events of The Bristol Savages, and once more pit Anna against FIRRST, the division charged with capturing her.
The reason why there is a sequel at all, let alone TWO, is because of one reader (and reviewer) who left the following on Amazon after reading The Bristol Savages. So thank you Grethe O'Sullivan for inspiring me to continue this story.
what a read. i absolutely loved it. quite a few strange twists. i'm sure there is a sequel as sarah tries to find anna.
Once I'd seen that, my mind went into overdrive. It was a call to action, and I'm pleased to say that it has worked out extremely well. I'm immensely pleased with my sequels, and I hope you enjoy them too. Good things come in threes, but this trilogy is dark.
I'm currently finishing the final drafts at the moment, and am looking to release in early 2020. So keep an eye out!
